We cordially invite you to attend the international symposium on architectural & built environment education for young people which will be held in conjuction with the Austrian contribution to the International Architecture Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia.

Along the theme of get involved – discover and create common ground, this international symposium will provide an opportunity to share new ideas and explore methods of archictural and built environment education for children and young people.

The Urban Chat Room is a new, location based communications system that ties the virtual and analog worlds together. We will occupy the exhibition space at the Austrian Pavilion from 8/28/12 to 11/25/12.

On Friday, 2nd of March 2012, at 10:30 a.m., Commissioner Arno Ritter, Wolfgang Tschapeller, Martin Perktold, Rens Veltman and grafisches Büro reveal the concept for the Austrian presentation at the International Architecture Exhibition.

On 27th of November 2011, the 54th International Art Exhibition la Biennale di Venezia closed its gates. Federal Minister for Culture, Dr. Claudia Schmied, Eva Schlegel (Commissioner 2011) and Arno Ritter, are in Venice for the handing over of the keys to the Austrian Pavilion.

Arno Ritter and Wolfgang Tschapeller, together with Rosanna Dematté, Bernadette Larcher and Simon Oberhammer, pay a visit to the Austrian Pavilion at the Venice Giardini della Biennale, from 26th to 29th of October 2011.

Federal minister for Culture Dr. Claudia Schmied has appointed Arno Ritter Austrian Commissioner for the 13th Architecture Biennale 2012 in Venice. Since 1995, Arno Ritter has headed the exhibition space „aut. architektur und tirol“ in Innsbruck (the former Architecture Forum Tyrol), and worked as a curator, exhibition organiser, and independent author.
